Our mission is to empower veterans by fostering healing and resilience through outdoor therapeutic experiences. We provide opportunities for veterans to reconnect with nature, build camaraderie, and find peace through activities like fishing, hiking, and outdoor adventures. By promoting mental health and well-being we aim to support veterans in overcoming challenges such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety.

Founded in 2022, Operation Send It was started by Captain James Dolan, veteran of the US Army, who was suffering from his own PTSD and found relief in the outdoors. With a lack of existing resources, he decided to create an organization that would share this form of therapy with fellow veterans in need.

We envision a future where every veteran and first responder has access to the healing power of nature. Through our programs, we create lasting bonds, provide critical support, and promote a brighter, healthier future for our heroes in need.
We love our Veterans and their families. Learn more about how you can get involved.
